Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA is looking for a Design/Development Release Engineer in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This role focuses on Vehicle Access and Key Authentication ECU modules, demanding collaboration with design and support teams to ensure successful production development.
Your main responsibilities will include developing specifications, managing suppliers, delivering validation reports, and supporting manufacturing processes effectively.
We are seeking a Design/Development Release Engineer specializing in Vehicle Access and Key Authentication Electronic Control Unit (ECU) modules. In this role, you will collaborate with product design/release engineers, external suppliers, and various internal support groups to specify, develop, and qualify components for production.
You will serve as a key technical bridge, interfacing with EE Systems groups to define vehicle-level functional specifications, working with vehicle packaging teams, and collaborating with the Product Design Office to define first-surface components.
Specification & Design: Develop component-level specifications and review component DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis).
Program Management: Participate in Product Assurance Planning and manage suppliers to ensure all vehicle program milestones are successfully met.
Validation & Compliance: Deliver DVRR (Design Validation and Reliability Report) and complete all applicable compliance reports.
Quality Assurance: Participate in Reactive Quality Problem Solving and support Supplier Quality during Process Sign-off (PS) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) reviews.
Manufacturing Support: Provide plant support as needed (travel may be required).
