Job summary

Tata Technologies in Missouri is seeking a collaborative engineer to drive vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security within our Electronic Systems Vehicle team.

You will work with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to specify, design, and integrate ECUs such as power slide door, power tailgate, seat, window, and sunroof, plus Smart Security components, helping to build a NA electronics center of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle application of Functional ECUs (power slide door ECU, power tailgate ECU, Seat ECU, Window ECU, Sunroof ECU, etc.) and Smart Security (Smart ECU, Immobi, antennas, etc.)
• Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specification

Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicle’s objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence
