Job summary

ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC is seeking an Intermediate Engineer with a engineering college background to contribute to vehicle design efforts. The candidate should have 2–5 years of vehicle design experience, proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of vehicle design experience.
• SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD modeling software.
• Zuken Wire Harness Design is a plus.
• Computer and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Goal oriented with motivation to meet tasks on time.
• Starter with initiative and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete Engineering design tasks and projects assignments which support production activities.
• Coordinate own tasks to ensure schedule and dates are met, considering vendor and production lead times.
• Create Engineering designs that meet customer specifications and contract documents, within manufacturing capabilities.
• Work with engineers to develop drawing packages and layouts to ensure design criteria compliance.
• Assist engineers with completion of testing of components and installations to meet contractual obligations, ensure reliability and fit.
• Complete Technical Engineering drawings and release documents per procedures and ECNs.
• Provide Engineering support to Production, QA, Customer Service, and other departments as needed.
• Interact with vendors and customers on design issues, ensuring vendor approval documents for new installations or applications.
