Job summary

ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC is seeking an Intermediate Engineer with a engineering college background to contribute to vehicle design efforts. The role involves creating and refining engineering drawings, coordinating with production and vendors, and supporting multiple departments to meet contract obligations.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of vehicle design experience, proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Zuken Wire Harness Design is a plus.
• Computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete Engineering design tasks and projects assignments which support production activities.
• Coordinate own tasks to ensure schedule and dates are met, considering vendor and production lead times.
• Create Engineering designs that meet customer specifications and contract documents, within manufacturing capabilities.
• Work with engineers to develop drawing packages and layouts to ensure design criteria compliance.
• Assist engineers with completion of testing of components and installations to meet contractual obligations, ensure reliability and fit.
• Complete Technical Engineering drawings and release documents per procedures and ECNs.
• Provide Engineering support to Production, QA, Customer Service, and other departments as needed.
• Interact with vendors and customers on design issues, ensuring vendor approval documents for new installations or applications.
