Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Vehicle Dynamics Tuning Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance vehicles. You will provide data-driven feedback from proving grounds, drive and test vehicles, and work closely with simulation engineers to align with program requirements.

The role requires a strong background in suspension, ride, and handling, along with collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from ABET-accredited university or equivalent
• Experience in automotive engineering product development
• Suspension architecture and development experience
• Vehicle ride and handling tuning or development experience
• Proactive and reactive problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience from cross functional interaction

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to programs based on test results and vehicle dynamics data.
• Drive and test vehicles and communicate with simulation engineers to help guide programs toward requirements.
