Job Description

Manager - Talent Acquisition @ ALTEN Technology USA | Employee Relations, Contract Negotiation. Engineer plays a key role in vehicle dynamics development by providing expert feedback based on testing and validation results. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and testing vehicles, evaluating performance, and collaborating closely with simulation and design engineers to guide the program toward achieving ride and handling targets.

Hands‑on experience at proving grounds and in vehicle tuning based on subjective evaluations is essential. A deep understanding of suspension systems, chassis architecture, and their impact on vehicle dynamics, ride comfort, and handling characteristics is critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vehicle testing and tuning activities to optimize ride, handling, and overall vehicle performance.
  • Provide detailed feedback to cross‑functional teams and collaborate with simulation engineers to refine suspension and chassis designs.
  • Perform subjective and objective evaluations to assess vehicle behavior under various road conditions.
  • Participate in regular test trips to proving grounds or other test locations (typically 1–2 weeks per trip).
  • Support the integration of suspension and chassis components throughout the vehicle development process.
  • Document findings and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering field (ABET‑accredited or equivalent).
  • Experience in automotive product development and vehicle testing.
  • Strong understanding of suspension architecture and development.
  • Proven experience in vehicle ride and handling tuning or development.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and interact effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (ABET‑accredited or equivalent).
  • Hands‑on test driving experience with performance and handling evaluations.
  • Racing experience or motorsport background (preferred for tuning expertise).
  • Vehicle dynamics simulation and data analysis experience.
  • Recent graduates with strong Formula SAE / racing background are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for vehicle testing and development activities (1–2 weeks per trip).
