Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to benchmark and evaluate chassis and suspension concepts for future vehicle programs.

The role requires a BS in engineering (ABET) with strong suspension knowledge, ride/handling tuning, target setting, and cross-functional collaboration. ADAMS or similar MBD experience is a plus; MS Office skills are essential for multi-project work.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of suspension architecture and development.
• Experience in ride and handling tuning or development.
• Target setting experience for ride and handling.
• K&C experience and NVH fundamentals knowledge.
• Proactive and reactive problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• MS Office proficiency; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience from cross-functional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Benchmarking and concept evaluation for chassis and suspension systems.
• Perform target setting, tire specification, CoG calculations, and hard point definition.
• Leverage subjective vehicle assessments, data analysis, and dynamics principles.
• Hands-on testing, modeling and simulation experience valuable.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to advance future vehicle programs.
