Qualifications

Completion of foundational coursework in dynamics, mechanics, controls, numerical methods or related subjects is preferred.
Internship, Formula SAE/Baja SAE, research or project experience is beneficial but not required.
Willingness to learn engineering tools and techniques and collaborate with teammates.

Responsibilities

Assist with multibody dynamics modeling, vehicle performance analysis and co-simulation activities.
Build, modify, run, and post-process simulation models of vehicles and mechanical systems.
Support correlation of simulation results with physical test data.
Develop scripts and tools for setup, data processing, visualization and reporting.
Collaborate with design, test, controls and manufacturing teams on projects.
Document model assumptions, methods, results and conclusions; participate in design reviews.
