Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking an Analysis Engineer to join our client’s Vehicle Dynamics team in Auburn Hills, MI.

The role centers on supporting CAE/virtual analysis for steering and suspension, analyzing kinematics and ride performance, and developing full-vehicle simulation models using leading tools. You will work in a collaborative environment with engineers to optimize suspension and steering systems, perform load calculations, and simulate ride events to improve vehicle safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with vehicle dynamics simulation tools (ADAMS/Car, NASTRAN, CARSIM, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of suspension and steering kinematics, compliance and vibration analysis.
• Ability to develop routines using Visual Basic, MATLAB, or ADAMS command files.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support CAE/virtual analysis activities for steering and suspension hardpoint development.
• Analyze and optimize suspension and steering sub-systems kinematics and compliance to improve ride and handling.
• Perform analytical assessments of steady and transient handling behaviors and load calculations for handling events.
• Simulate ride events and characterize metrics like impact harshness, pitch, and shimmy.
• Develop, validate, and own full vehicle and sub-system simulation models using ADAMS/Car, NASTRAN, CARSIM, and related tools.
