Job summary

Mountain Engineering is seeking a Contract Vegetation Program Manager to supervise line clearance pruning and vegetation management for PG&E projects. The role involves coordinating VM activities, addressing customer and agency needs, and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.

The candidate should have a two-year forestry degree or related field and at least two years of pruning experience, with strong supervisory capabilities and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in forestry or related field (CVPM).
• Two years’ experience in line clearance tree pruning work or equivalent.
• Supervisory capabilities and familiarity with arboricultural techniques and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist VM Program and provide supervisory oversight.
• Support operations, schedule VM activities, and coordinate tasks.
• Handle customer interactions, complaints, and access issues as directed.
• Clarify expectations for contractor employees per PG&E guidance.
• Monitor pre-inspection progress and tree work completion.
• Perform data checks to identify issues.
• Assist in agency meetings, field visits, and project management.
• Contribute to contract review processes.
