Job summary

BRANDED R&L LLC is seeking a Field Technician to perform vegetation management and grounds maintenance in Florida. You will operate landscaping equipment, apply herbicides as authorized, and ensure all work complies with company policies and OSHA standards.

The role requires travel throughout Florida and overnight stays Monday through Thursday as needed for projects. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, completing inspections and paperwork, and representing the company professionally

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Zero-turn equipment experience preferred.
• Herbicide application experience preferred (training available).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Safely apply herbicides following labels and regulations.
• Perform vegetation management and general property maintenance.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report issues promptly.
• Complete paperwork and inspections accurately.

TRAVEL BASED POSITION

The Field Technician is responsible for performing vegetation management and grounds maintenance services in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. This position operates commercial landscaping equipment, applies herbicides when authorized, maintains company equipment, and ensures all work is completed in accordance with company policies, customer expectations, and OSHA safety standards. Must be willing to travel throughout Florida and stay overnight Monday thru Thursday as needed for project assignments. Job duties and responsibilities are subject to change.

Essential Job Duties

• Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, string trimmers (weed eaters), blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
• Safely apply herbicides in accordance with product labels, company procedures, and state and federal regulations.
• Perform vegetation management, mowing, trimming, edging, and general property maintenance.
• Clean work areas upon completion, leaving each job site neat and free of debris.
• Fuel, inspect, clean, and perform daily preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and vehicles.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Work safely around roadways, utility infrastructure, and heavy equipment.
• Assist crew members as directed by the foreman.
• Complete required paperwork and equipment inspections accurately.
• Represent Branded R&L professionally at all times.

Safety Responsibilities

• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain clean vehicles, trailers, and jobsites.
• Never operate equipment in an unsafe manner or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
