Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Veeva Vault Technical Consultant to lead design, configuration, and implementation of Vault Promomats and platform solutions for compliant, scalable processes. You will drive migrations, governance, and integrations while mentoring teams.

The role supports remote work for qualified US applicants and emphasizes collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Vault solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Veeva Vault technologies with Vault Promomats, Vault Platform, Vault Migrations, and Vault CRM.
• Experience designing, configuring, and implementing Veeva Vault solutions for regulated business processes.
• Strong Vault Platform configuration skills including data models, workflows, metadata structures, security models, and integrations.
• Proven end-to-end Veeva Vault migration experience including mapping, transformation, validation, testing, and deployment.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience supporting solution development, testing, deployment, production support, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of governance, security controls, validation processes, and compliance-oriented configurations.
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and guiding solution design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Veeva Vault Promomats solutions for content lifecycle management, reviews, approvals, and distribution.
• Develop and maintain Veeva Vault Platform configurations, including data models, workflows, metadata structures, security settings, and integrations.
• Execute end-to-end Veeva Vault migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, testing, deployment, and data quality assurance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and support teams while promoting best practices.
• Drive solution development, testing, deployment, production support, and platform optimization initiatives to improve reliability and user experience.

Veeva Vault Technical Consultant

As a Veeva Vault Technical Consultant, you will make an impact by leading the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Veeva Vault solutions that support compliant and scalable business processes. You will be a valued member of the technology team, partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, functional teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality solutions that support research and development programs.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Veeva Vault Promomats solutions supporting content lifecycle management, review and approval workflows, and compliant content distribution.

• Develop and maintain Veeva Vault Platform configurations, including data models, workflows, metadata structures, security settings, and integrations that support business processes.

• Execute end-to-end Veeva Vault migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, testing, deployment, and data quality assurance.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and support teams while promoting best practices and ensuring high-quality solution delivery.

• Drive solution development, testing, deployment, production support, and platform optimization initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and user experience.

What you need to have to be considered

• Strong experience in Veeva Vault technologies with strong expertise in Veeva Vault Promomats, Vault Platform, Vault Migrations, and Vault CRM.

• Experience designing, configuring, and implementing Veeva Vault solutions supporting regulated business processes.

• Strong experience with Vault Platform configuration, including data models, workflows, metadata structures, security models, and integrations.

• Proven experience executing end-to-end Veeva Vault migration projects, including data mapping, transformation, validation, testing, and deployment activities.

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Hands-on experience supporting solution development, testing, deployment, production support, and issue resolution.

• Strong understanding of governance, security controls, validation processes, and compliance-oriented system configurations.

• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and guiding solution design and delivery.

• Experience improving scientific and operational workflows through Veeva platform capabilities.

• Strong expertise in system performance monitoring, optimization, and scalability improvements.

• Experience leading functional, system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Demonstrated success troubleshooting complex production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions.

• Experience preparing technical documentation, including design specifications, migration strategies, release notes, and support procedures.

• Experience evaluating and adopting new platform features and industry best practices to improve business outcomes.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $83,000pa - $145,000pa depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
