Job summary

Accelera Solutions is seeking a VDI Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize virtual desktop infrastructure across USAF environments. You will automate VM deployment, build base images, and ensure secure, scalable configurations compliant with STIGs and NIST standards.

You will Troubleshoot, document, and communicate technical details to clients while collaborating with DevOps and admins to drive mission-focused services. Hybrid local Chantilly, VA region.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may substitute for 5 years).
• 5+ years’ experience setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure and Kubernetes.
• 5+ years’ experience with AD, PKI, SSO, and Windows/Azure services.
• 3+ years’ experience with Hyper-V and VMware; logs and network security experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implement VDI solutions aligned with goals, including hardware and software components.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for VDI.
• Monitor VDI performance, identify issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost and scalability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates for provisioning and deployment.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and system admins to support application deployment.
• Maintain documentation of architectures and procedures.
