Job summary

Accelera Solutions is seeking a VDI Engineer (Hyper-V/VMware) to design, deploy, and automate virtual desktop infrastructure for USAF mission environments. This hybrid position requires local Chantilly, VA, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

You will build base images, implement security best practices, monitor performance, and collaborate with developers, DevOps, and system administrators to deliver reliable, scalable VDI services across bases.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance required.
Microsoft Server Administrator Associate Certification.
15+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years).
5+ years’ experience in cloud infrastructure (Azure) and Kubernetes.
5+ years’ experience integrating and securing Microsoft AD services, ADDS, ADCS, ADFS, SSO.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design and implement VDI solutions that align with goals, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Implement and maintain security best practices for VDI.
Monitor VDI performance, identify issues, and optimize for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates to streamline provisioning and deployment processes.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and system administrators to support application development and deployment.
Maintain documentation of architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.
