Job summary

Foundever is seeking a skilled VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and MDM (Mobile Device Management) Administrator to design, implement, and manage our VDI and MDM environments. You will ensure optimal performance, security, and a positive user experience in a fast-paced IT environment.

The role emphasizes configuring VDI with Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop, plus managing Intune and Azure for device security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as VDI and MDM Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of VDI tech: Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop.
• MDM knowledge: Microsoft Intune and Azure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• VDI Administration: design, deploy, and maintain VDI solutions (WorkSpaces, Citrix, Azure VD).
• MDM Administration: implement and manage Microsoft Intune; ensure compliance and security.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain docs; prepare system performance reports.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and MDM (Mobile Device Management) Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our VDI and MDM environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• VDI Administration:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain VDI solutions using technologies such as Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop to ensure reliable and scalable virtual desktop environments.
  • Monitor VDI performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources for user efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement VDI projects and enhancements.
  • Manage user profiles, application delivery, and access controls within the VDI environment.
• MDM Administration:
  • Implement and manage MDM solutions, specifically Microsoft Intune, to secure, monitor, and manage mobile devices.
  • Configure policies, profiles, and applications within Microsoft Intune to ensure compliance and security across devices.
  • Support the enrollment of devices and provide technical support for end-users.
  • Monitor device compliance and address security threats or vulnerabilities.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain documentation for VDI and MDM processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, trends, and security compliance.
• User Support and Training:
  • Provide technical support to end-users for VDI and MDM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on best practices for using VDI and mobile devices.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to VDI and MDM.

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a VDI and MDM Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of VDI technologies, including Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop, as well as MDM solutions, particularly Microsoft Intune and Azure.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to virtual desktops and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with managing network infrastructure, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Citrix Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure/Intune).
• Experience with cloud-based VDI solutions and mobile device management platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of tasks.
