Job summary

Concrete Strategies Inc. is seeking a VDC Lead to drive planning, coordination, and execution of Virtual Design and Construction efforts for self-perform concrete operations.

This role bridges design intent and field execution using 3D/4D modeling to improve constructability, sequencing, safety, and production efficiency. You will partner with estimating, project management, and field teams to deliver accurate, construction-driven models, mentor junior VDC staff, and advance our VDC standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Virtual Design & Construction (BIM) with focus on self-perform concrete construction.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BEP awareness.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and translate design intent into constructible models.
• Experience integrating project schedules into models (4D) and phasing visuals.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and coordination of 3D/4D concrete models for self-perform operations.
• Translate design intent into constructible, execution-ready models reflecting constraints.
• Integrate schedules into models to support phasing, pours, logistics, and field communication.
• Develop model-based quantity takeoffs to support estimating and cost control.
• Create visual tools and deliverables for internal decisions and client pursuits.
• Lead coordination meetings to identify clashes and drive constructability solutions.
• Mentor junior VDC team members and advance VDC standards across the organization.
• Stay current with VDC/BIM trends to drive continuous improvement.
