Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction Intern to assist the project team with the digital delivery of construction projects. You will help develop the digital project management strategy to improve collaboration across activities, pursuits, and projects in the Construction market.

The internship requires pursuing a relevant degree, strong communication and analytical skills, and a desire to grow in the field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in VDC, Drafting & Design Technology, BIM, Architecture, or related field.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to the department.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Prior internship or consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus or community activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Basic familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Self-motivated with eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time without sponsorship.
