Ryan Companies in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a VDC Intern to join our office for a summer internship (May–August) or spring co-op (May–December). The intern will assist the project team with BIM/VDC processes, model management, field support, and coordination.

You will pursue a bachelor’s degree and ideally be within 18 months of graduating a four-year degree in Construction Engineering/Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, BIM Management, or a closely related field, and be able to work

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree in Construction Engineering/Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, BIM Management or closely related field.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

Mansioni

• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Assist VDC Engineers and Managers in daily responsibilities, including model management, design coordination, field support, and other requests from the project team.
• Gain a working understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) administration, coordination, and model management.
• Assist project teams in creation of pursuit materials and other exhibits.
• Learn core VDC software and processes, including Autodesk and Adobe products.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and schedule sequencing models.
• Partner with project VDC resources and team members to create virtual mockups.
