Ryan Companies Inc. seeks a VDC Intern for our Chicago office for a summer internship (May–August) or spring co-op (May–December).

You will assist VDC Engineers with model management, field support, and coordination tasks, while gaining BIM administration experience and exposure to Autodesk and Adobe tools. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree and can commit to 40 hours per week for multiple months; eight months is preferred.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree in Construction Eng/Management, Architecture, Civil Eng, BIM Management or related field.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
• Eight months is the ideal length of time for this role.

Mansioni

• Assist VDC Engineers with model management and field support.
• Support design coordination and project team requests.
• Learn BIM administration and model management.
• Create pursuit materials and exhibits.
• Learn VDC software including Autodesk and Adobe products.
• Develop site logistics and schedule sequencing models.
