Ryan Companies invites a VDC Intern to join our Atlanta office for a hands-on summer or co-op, May through August or May through December. The role supports project teams in BIM coordination, model management, field support and pursuit materials.

You will learn BIM administration, coordination, and various VDC processes, working with Autodesk and Adobe software while developing site logistics models and virtual mockups. Requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree and availability for the term.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, BIM Management, or closely related field.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term; eight months is ideal for this role.
• Familiar with BIM, construction scheduling and 3D modeling; ability to read contracts, specs and drawings.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work with project teams.

Mansioni

• Develop understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Assist VDC Engineers and Managers with daily tasks, including model management and field support.
• Learn BIM administration, coordination, and model management processes.
• Assist in creation of pursuit materials and exhibits.
• Learn core VDC software and processes including Autodesk and Adobe products.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and schedule sequencing models.
• Collaborate with VDC resources and team members to create virtual mockups.
