Job summary

The Weitz Company is hiring a VDC Engineer for our Mission Critical team on data center projects in Boling, TX. The role focuses on design, management, and implementation of VDC systems including modeling and field solution technologies to streamline workflows and enhance VDC utilization across projects.

Responsibilities include developing VDC models, coordinating with field teams, applying 3D/4D/5D tools, and supporting documentation workflows while pursuing continuous improvement in standards

Qualifications

• Internship or prior experience supporting VDC in construction.
• LEAN principles experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate VDC models with increasing independence.
• Provide onsite/office field support and issue resolution.
• Apply 3D, 4D, and 5D tools to improve project workflows.
• Create renderings and simulations for planning and communication.
• Manage RFIs, ASIs, and digital documentation workflows.
