Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Maryland and New Jersey is seeking a self-motivated, tech-savvy VDC candidate to join our internal team. You will create virtual simulations to improve site logistics, safety, sequencing, and VR experiences.

You will coordinate 3D models with operations from kickoff to closeout, perform preconstruction model tasks, and help drive R&D of new software and hardware to raise project quality.

• Understand building construction, engineering, and/or architecture.
• Experience with BIM software programs and technology.

Responsibilities

• Creating virtual simulations to validate and improve site logistics, safety concerns, building sequencing, scheduling, and VR experiences.
• Manage 3D coordination activities with operation teams from project kickoff through closeout.
• Perform preconstruction model tasks – quality verifications, schedule validations, constructability reviews, and virtual mock‑up production.
• Drive research and development of new software, hardware, and technology to optimize the team’s execution and overall project quality.
