Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our internal Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team in Towson, MD. The role focuses on validating site logistics, sequencing, and safety through virtual simulations and 3D coordination.

Candidates should understand construction, engineering or architecture and have BIM software experience. A curious, forward-thinking mindset and ability to multi-task will drive continual project improvement.

Responsibilities

• Creating virtual simulations to validate and improve site logistics, safety concerns, building sequencing, scheduling, and VR experiences.
• Managing 3D coordination with operation teams from kickoff to closeout.
• Performing preconstruction model tasks – quality verifications, schedule validations, constructability reviews, and virtual mock‑up production.
• Driving R&D of new software, hardware, and technology to optimize execution and overall project quality.
