Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a VDC/BIM specialist in Honolulu, Hawaii to manage multidiscipline construction models and coordinate design and trade deliverables. You will leverage 3D modeling software to translate drawings into Building Information Models and contribute to BIM execution planning.

Requires 5–7 years in construction with 2–3 years in VDC, and a degree in AEC. On-site role with collaboration across design, trade teams and project management to improve workflows and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in AEC (architecture, engineering, construction).
• 5–7 years in construction, with 2–3 years in Virtual Design and Construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequences and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current multidiscipline construction models and enforce modeling standards.
• Collaborate with design and trade teams to coordinate multiple workflows and deliverables.
• Expand use of VDC tools during pursuit and project phases; contribute to BIM execution planning.
