Job summary

ERMCO, Inc. seeks an Experienced VDC Engineer to develop and implement construction installation standards and 3D electrical models for projects across the United States.

You will coordinate with account management to reduce costs, produce feeder schedules, and create fabrication documentation. The role blends in-office and field work, requiring communication with field teams and active participation in coordination meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage detailed 3D electrical models and installation drawings.
• Coordinate electrical systems to avoid conflicts and ensure NEC compliance.
• Develop feeder schedules and fabrication documentation.
• Prepare design/installation documents for fabrication plans.
• Attend meetings and participate in training and coordination activities.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and vendor relationships.
• Proactively improve workflows, software usage, and project efficiency.
• Assist with project schedules and site-based coordination when needed.
• Ensure work complies with ERMCO policies and safety standards.
