Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hands-on VDC Associate to support the delivery of mission-critical projects across the United States. You will produce coordinated Revit models and shop drawings for electrical systems, translating design intent into field-ready models for fabrication and installation.

The role offers Navisworks clash detection, coordination meetings with project stakeholders, and opportunities to grow modeling standards with the senior VDC team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional VDC, BIM, or construction modeling experience.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings to apply design intent.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed Revit models and shop drawings for electrical systems.
• Translate design intent into coordinated, field-ready models for fabrication and installation.
• Support project coordination with clash detection and model resolution using Navisworks.
• Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, architects, and design partners.
• Coordinate model revisions, RFIs, and deliverables while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Work across multiple linked models and disciplines to resolve constructability challenges.
• Collaborate with senior VDC members to improve modeling standards and workflows.
