Job summary

Staker Parson Companies in Utah is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Coordinator to manage quantifying, visualization, and computer modeling of heavy civil construction projects. You will collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, BIM Modelers, architects, and clients to produce cohesive construction plans and accurate reports.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, strong communication skills, and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM modeling and Autodesk Revit software.
• Knowledge of Trimble Business Center (preferred).
• Knowledge of earthwork takeoff and AMG integration software.
• Knowledge of Bentley and Civil 3D drafting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use design and modeling software to support pursuit and award of heavy civil construction projects.
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, BIM Modelers, architects, and clients.
• Determine elements and scale for construction sites.
• Gather and analyze data on costs, materials, and labor.
