Job summary

AEC Alliance in Nashville, TN seeks a VDC/BIM Engineer/Designer to join the in-house VDC team. Build 3D models from design drawings, produce 2D shop drawings used by the field, and coordinate with general contractor and trade partners while supporting project teams from planning through construction.

You will turn models into real structures, work closely with field teams, and help roll out new VDC technologies across projects.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of drafting, design, or detailing experience.
• Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit required.
• A degree in engineering, architecture, construction management preferred.
• Structural or concrete detailing experience is a strong plus.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.

A well-established commercial construction company in Nashville is growing its in-house VDC/BIM team and looking for a Engineer/Coordinator/Designer to join them. This is a great fit for someone with a drafting or design background who wants to move closer to the build. You'd see your models turn into real structures, work alongside the field and project teams, and grow your skills with the latest VDC tools.
