Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a VDC Manager I in Dallas to lead BIM coordination across active projects and support the National VDC Department. You will guide design coordination, implement VDC tools, and drive risk reduction with minimal supervision.

You will work with project teams, trade partners, and designers to ensure accurate model validation, turnover, and successful construction coordination through early design phases and ongoing BIM execution.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of building construction and BIM processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead project teams through the VDC process.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed to execute projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage BIM coordination process and ensure timely information flow.
• Lead BIM kickoff meetings and maintain VDC process documentation.
• Create BIM Execution Plans and oversee design coordination.
• Coordinate with field teams, trade partners and design stakeholders.
• Produce federated drawings and coordinate with all project partners.
• Assist in bid support with model quantity take-offs and RFP visuals.
• Support regional VDC teams with visual content for proposals and pursuits.
