Responsibilities

• Model all electrical components in Revit under guidance from VDC Managers and Project Leads.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical models in Revit per drawings, specs, and NEC requirements.
• Coordinate electrical systems with other trades using Navisworks and Autodesk Forma.
• Create detailed shop, install and prefabrication drawings for field and prefab use.
• Maintain accurate as-built models throughout the project life cycle.

Overview

Our client is a leading electrical contracting firm that has an immediate need for a VDC Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have started their career as a commercial electrician and transitioned into a CAD role, or have direct experience performing modeling for a commercial electrical contracting firm.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from VDC Managers and Project Leads to model all electrical components in Revit.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical models in Revit based on Contract Drawings, Specifications and NEC requirements.
• Coordinate electrical systems with all other trade partners using Navisworks and Autodesk Forma.
• Create highly detailed shop, install and prefabrication drawings for field and prefab use.
• Maintain accurate as-built models throughout the life of the project.
