Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unite models and schedules, accelerating construction planning. You’ll work with an international team, building 4D/5D workflows and improving tools to deliver smarter results. The role blends hands-on production with opportunities to experiment and advance planning methods.

The base salary range is $77,100 to $106,000 in the U.S., with a hybrid work policy and strong benefits including health, 401(k), stock, and leave programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC with hands-on 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Proficiency with SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar; Revit/Navisworks experience.
• Understand schedules and how they link to model elements; Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Organize model data using Revit parameters or element coding.
• Communicate clearly across disciplines and time zones; manage multiple projects.
• Curious, eager to learn new tools and optimize workflows with AI aids.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to schedules.
• Prepare model data and ensure reliable schedule linking and updates.
• Collaborate with project teams to assess methods, sequencing, and risks.
• Create clear simulations and visuals to support planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team and ensure quality handoffs.
• Improve workflows and troubleshoot data integration and automation.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedule, and cost.
• Share knowledge and train teams to use 4D effectively.
