Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator in the United States to unify models and schedules for smarter construction planning and 4D-to-5D progression. You will collaborate with an international delivery team to drive tool and workflow improvements.

You’ll perform hands-on production, develop 4D simulations, and present clear strategies to stakeholders. The base salary range is $77,100 to $106,000, with a hybrid policy and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or construction sequencing.
Proficiency in 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor; experience with Revit and/or Navisworks.
Understanding of construction schedules, activity relationships, sequencing, and linking to model elements.
Experience organizing model information via Revit parameters and coding; data management skills a plus.
Ability to explain technical information clearly, collaborate across disciplines/time zones, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or equivalent.
Prepare and structure model data, including Revit parameters and element coding, for reliable schedule linking and updates.
Collaborate with project teams to evaluate construction methods, sequencing, and identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
Create clear simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions and communicate strategy.
Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
Coordinate work with an international delivery team, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality handoffs.
Improve repeatable workflows, troubleshoot data integration issues, and test automation for speed and accuracy.
Help develop 5D workflows connecting model quantities, scheduling, and cost data.
Share knowledge and help project teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
