Job summary

Veterans Canteen Service at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center is hiring seasonal Food Service Workers to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include helping customers, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining clean spaces. A REAL ID is required to work, and physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds is expected. One year in food service is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending.
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
