Job summary

The Veterans Canteen Service at the Miami VA Medical Center is hiring part-time Food Service Workers to provide fast, friendly service in our cafes and retail markets.

Candidates should be able to read instructions, perform basic math for food prep, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current REAL ID is required to work at Veterans Canteen Service.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
• Must stand, walk, and bend; lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills.
