ISOutsource is seeking an experienced vCISO to guide client cybersecurity programs with executive-level consulting and strategic leadership. You will develop roadmaps, ISMS, and governance across standards like NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and CMMC.

You will lead risk assessments, vendor risk, incident response planning, and executive reporting, while partnering with teams to drive practical security improvements and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, security operations, or IT leadership.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsabilités

• Provide executive-level cybersecurity consulting and strategic guidance to clients.
• Develop and manage cybersecurity roadmaps, security programs, and ISMS implementations.
• Lead governance, risk assessments, gap analyses, risk registers, and remediation priorities.
• Guide clients through regulatory, contractual, and framework requirements (NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, CMMC).
• Support audit readiness, assessments, cybersecurity questionnaires, and attestations.
• Advise on vulnerability management, third-party risk, and security posture improvements.
• Lead incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and incident guidance.
• Present cybersecurity program updates, risks, and recommendations to client leadership.
• Partner with internal and client-facing teams to translate strategy into action.
• Support assessments, proposals, and strategic engagements with clients and prospects.
• Build relationships with client executives, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory changes.
• Meet revenue, utilization, client satisfaction, and time-entry goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
