Job summary

ISOutsource is seeking a qualified vCISO to guide client cybersecurity programs, governance, and risk management. You will develop roadmaps, ISMS, and compliance with standards such as NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.

Travel to client sites is required; a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of cybersecurity leadership are expected. This is a full-time role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-based field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive cybersecurity/risk/compliance leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work with SMB to enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level cybersecurity consulting and strategic guidance to clients.
• Develop and manage cybersecurity roadmaps, security programs, and ISMS.
• Lead cybersecurity governance, risk assessments, gap analyses, and remediation priorities.
• Guide clients through regulatory requirements (NIST CSF/800-53, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2).
• Support audit readiness and attestations; assist with third-party risk processes.
• Advise on vulnerability management and incident response planning.
• Present updates and recommendations to client leadership; collaborate with internal teams.
