The University of Vermont is seeking a VCHIP Data Manager to coordinate and manage data processes aimed at improving family and child health. This role involves collating data from various sources, conducting analyses, and reporting findings regularly to inform health care delivery practices.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in health or social sciences and have 2-4 years of relevant experience, especially in statistical analysis and project management. Additional skills in tools such as REDCap and SQL programming are desirable.

Position Overview
Coordinate data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting processes for quality improvement with a focus on family and child health and health care delivery as part of the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program. Implement and improve existing data management systems that collect and integrate multiple data sources, including public health data, claims data, electronic health record derived data, and chart audit data. Collaborate regularly with leadership to create and modify data collection tools and participate in the training and oversight of data collection personnel at multiple sites. Conduct descriptive analyses on new and existing datasets, write detailed reports on evaluation methods, and present results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support project objectives. Create and maintain standard operating procedures and protocols related to data collection and maintenance for the data life cycle. Ensure security and confidentiality of data and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
