The successful candidate will operate with significant autonomy while collaborating closely with Partners and the broader investment team.**Key Responsibilities:***Deal Sourcing & Origination:*\* Proactively identify and engage with promising startups and exceptional entrepreneurs, building a strong pipeline of investment opportunities through extensive networking and industry engagement.*Due Diligence & Analysis:*\* Conduct comprehensive market, technology, team, and financial analysis for prospective investments. This includes building financial models, evaluating business plans, assessing competitive landscapes, and identifying key risks.*Investment Execution:*\* Prepare detailed investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee. Lead or assist in structuring and negotiating complex deal terms.*Portfolio Management & Support:*\* Actively support portfolio companies post-investment, including providing strategic guidance, operational assistance, and fulfilling board observer duties.*Industry Engagement:*\* Represent Flying Fish Partners at industry events and within the broader venture capital community, enhancing the firm's reputation and network.*Firm Contribution:*\* Collaborate on the firm's overall strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and internal operational improvements.**Qualifications:**Candidates must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in venture capital, private equity, or a related investment field, demonstrating a strong understanding of technology trends and startup dynamics.
