VC Stack is looking for a Venture Investor to join their team. In this role, you will actively source and support deep tech startups, particularly those connected to the MIT startup community. Your responsibilities include connecting startups to potential customers and investors, as well as organizing events and collaborations within the community.

Venture Investor

E14 Fund the fund that has been supporting the MIT startup community for nearly ten years is expanding our team with a new Venture Investor position!

If you are passionate about science, technology and entrepreneurship and are eager to help startups tackle the world’s biggest challenges, we’d love to hear from you. As a Venture Investor, you will work closely with our Managing Partners in the following areas:

Responsibilities:

1. Source new investments: research and advocate for deep tech startups that defy or define categories while fostering relationships with founders from our community.
2. Support existing investments: help young startups by connecting them with potential enterprise customers, providing support for fundraising needs, including narrative and deck feedback and introductions to downstream investors, and whatever else they need.
3. Community engagement: collaborate with our Head of Community to work with E14 founders and potential founders by organizing office hours, events, and collaborations with other MIT startup programs and investors. Develop and share content for our community.

Requirements:

• Startup experience or expertise and deep intellectual curiosity
• Familiarity with the MIT startup ecosystem (preferred)
• Location: Boston, San Francisco
