Jobot, a leading recruitment platform, seeks a Corporate Associate to join its venture capital and emerging companies practice. The attorney will handle sophisticated transactions and advise fast-growing clients from seed to growth stages in a top-tier environment.

The role requires a JD with four+ years of corporate transactional experience, strong drafting skills, and comfort with legal tech/AI tools. On-site employment with a flexible hybrid schedule in a premier Am Law 100 setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission, or eligibility for admission, in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least four years of relevant corporate transactional experience.
• Experience representing venture-backed companies, investors, or other participants in private-company transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with capitalization structures and financial models.
• Ability to work effectively with attorneys at different levels of seniority.
• Excellent organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable incorporating emerging legal technology and AI-enabled tools into daily practice.
• Strong client-service orientation and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Represent companies and investors in venture financings and related corporate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and ancillary agreements.
• Advise clients on corporate governance and general company matters.
• Counsel management teams and boards regarding corporate actions and approvals.
• Assist with equity compensation and related company matters.
• Work closely with junior attorneys and contribute to their professional development.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced practice.
