Summary

Renewa is currently looking for a Houston-based Finance Analyst. This role will be responsible for financial modeling and deal valuations, market research and managing the proprietary database. If you enjoy learning, helping create processes in a small and dynamic team environment, and are a bit of an entrepreneur at heart, this role might be for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building financial models to support and evaluate investment decisions
• Assist in developing corporate models, investment memos, and reports for management
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Analyze business and financial data
• Research industry trends and present information to inform investment decisions
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and related markets being researched
• Apply data mining capabilities to aggregate, validate and disseminate actionable insights around markets, target customers, and competitive strategies
• Create, manage, and summarize large data sets

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 3+ years of experience as Financial Analyst at bulge bracket or leading investment bank with energy or renewables sector experience; or
• 3+ years of experience in finance or development roles as major renewable energy developer.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment
