We are looking for an Venture Analyst to join Hitachi Ventures in our Boston office. We are a Corporate Venture Capital firm that invests in exciting early-stage startups that can benefit from the reach and scale that Hitachi offers as a potential partner – creating win-win opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the deal cycle from sourcing to exit
• Identify and screen investment opportunities with a focus on AI forward solutions
• Conduct in-depth market analysis, market sizing, industry and sector analysis, competitive positioning, technical feasibility, and other areas critical to investment evaluation
• Support efforts to deliver an outside-in view of markets and tech to Hitachi business leaders
• Support the creation and maintenance of tools that help continuously improve our operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1- 3 years of professional experience with a preference for VC, Consulting, or Startups in the industrial or climate sector with an emphasis on digital/ Gen AI enablement
• Require at least Bachelor degree with preference for a Masters degree
• Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
• Demonstrated excitement related to the entrepreneurial ecosystem
