Responsibilities

• Screening new venture capital investment opportunities and conducting detailed manager due diligence
• Preparing for and participating in meetings with venture capital fund managers
• Monitoring existing fund managers and underlying portfolio companies and conducting ongoing diligence
• Conducting research on portfolio construction, industry trends, and venture capital markets
• Building and maintaining portfolio models and analytical tools to evaluate manager and portfolio performance

Our client is an employee-owned alternative asset manager based in Boston with approximately $14 billion in assets under management. The firm invests across private markets, public markets, and multi-strategy alternatives, with a long history of investing in early-stage venture capital.

Our client is seeking a Senior Analystto join its growing venture capital practice in Boston. The team has extensive experience investing across the venture ecosystem and has raised 19 funds focused predominantly on early-stage venture capital. The Senior Analyst will gain broad exposure to primary fund investments, co-investments, and secondary investments while supporting manager due diligence, portfolio monitoring, investment analysis, and client-related activities. This role also offers an opportunity to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve investment research, portfolio monitoring, and internal workflows.
