Job summary

Great Northern Laminations East in Allentown, PA is looking for a 3rd Shift Crew Leader to operate the Vboard line and guide a production crew toward safe, quality-focused output. You will monitor performance, ensure maintenance readiness, and document results to meet company standards.

You will lead the shift, coordinate training, troubleshoot equipment, and partner with the Production Supervisor to manage orders while promoting lean practices and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality and efficiency of the Vboard machine and crew.
• Operate the Vboard machine to meet production goals.
• Provide crew leadership and coordinate shift activities.
• Lead communications with crew and plant leadership.
• Support training efforts and participate in continuous improvement.
