Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in California is seeking a Vault Cashier to manage currency and cash used by the resort. You will handle funds from all cash transactions during shifts in accordance with internal controls and requirements of the Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities include overseeing vault cash flow, counting cash drawers, processing exchanges and transfers, securing deposits, and maintaining accountability of Player's Bank. A background check is required to obtain a gaming license.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and money-handling skills are a necessity.
• Must possess a high regard for guest service and team member relations.
• Computer literacy with ability and willingness to learn new applications.
• Knowledge of MCRS internal controls
• Must be proficient at a 10 key calculator.
• Good interpersonal skills are a necessity.

Responsibilities

• Handle funds from all cash transactions during shift according to internal controls.
• Manage cash flow and documentation through vault for daily gaming activities.
• Verify currency exchanges and transfers for Vault windows; count bank for variances.
• Secure cash for deposits and manage fund transfers.
• Maintain accountability of counter checks and Player's Bank.
• May function as a Cashier (102009) when assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
