Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is seeking a Shift Manager – Cash Operations to oversee cage activities, uphold cash handling integrity, and drive guest service excellence during assigned shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive cash operations knowledge, and compliance with regulatory standards. It involves supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and supporting promotions and player tracking initiatives in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFE, CPA) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cash operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/shift management role.
• Experience with high-volume cash handling in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operation of the casino cage and ensures integrity and security of all cash and chips.
• Ensures compliance with internal control procedures and all applicable local, state, and Tribal gaming regulations.
• Maintains custody and control of gaming cash, coins, chips, patrons’ checks, and related records.
• Monitors player tracking data accuracy and supports promotional efforts through tracking systems.
• Plans staffing and schedules to meet operational demands and maintain service levels.
• Leads by example with professionalism, integrity, and guest service excellence.
