Job summary

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel is seeking a Vault Cashier to securely handle and reconcile large volumes of currency and gaming instruments within a highly controlled environment. You will operate under dual custody, prepare cash replenishments, and ensure meticulous, audit-ready records to support uninterrupted gaming operations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain a Ute Mountain Ute Gaming Commission Support License.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in cash handling, banking, accounting, or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, count, verify, and store large volumes of currency, coin, and gaming instruments.
Prepare and issue cash drawers, banks, and replenishment funds to Cage and Imprest Cashiers.
Balance vault inventories daily and investigate discrepancies per escalation procedures.
Record all vault transactions in approved systems and keep audit-ready documentation.
Maintain compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and AML requirements.
