Responsibilities

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting in training new production employees, including production, cleaning, answering questions, and work routines. This role also involves responsibilities related to computer work, paperwork, and communication with supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee departments to ensure production, cleaning, and priorities are managed effectively.
• Assist with training all new employees.
• Work closely with management and supervisors.
• Ensure all production employees work safely and follow procedures and policies.
• Keep management informed of progress and issues.
• Enforce all company rules.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Detect and correct GMP/Safety violations.
• Address employee issues.
• Follow GMPs & SQF policies, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality. Report any conditions that may affect food safety, quality, or personnel safety.
• Responsible for food safety and quality of MFI products.
• May fill in for the Area Supervisor as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• Experience: Lead experience preferred.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple reports and correspondence.
• Effective in presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

• Apply common sense to carry out instructions and interpret various forms of instructions.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication and organizational skills.
