Job summary

Step Up is seeking an Assistant VASH Program Manager in Los Angeles to support the Veteran Services team. The role coordinates program activities, assists the Director and Program Manager, and ensures delivery of housing and case management services to Veterans.

As a Licensed Mental Health professional (III), you will oversee onboarding, supervision, and coordination with VA liaison, while maintaining regulatory compliance and data reporting for the VASH program.

Qualifications

• Masters of Social Work, Counseling Psychology or Family Therapy, (MSW, MFT).
• Registered with BBS, licensed with at least 2 years clinical experience, including one year working with Veterans.
• Case management experience is essential, including the ability to chart client progress to meet VA documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and staff recruitment processes with HR and IT.
• Provide weekly supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Coordinate with VA Liaison to organize weekly case conferences and ensure cross collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with VA TBV/PBV contracts and maintain documentation quality.
• Oversee program census, LOC tracking and reporting.
