Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Echo/Vascular for a 13-week travel assignment in Jacksonville, FL. The role requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program completion, at least one year of experience, BLS certification, and a valid state ultrasound license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and comfort.
• Perform ultrasound exams of general and vascular studies with accuracy.
• Evaluate images for clarity and quality, ensuring diagnostic value.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment per safety standards.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to procedures.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
